Camping Recipe: Grilled Camping Beer Brats

Ingredients

  • Bratwurst
  • Light or dark beer
  • New England-style top sliced bund
  • One can of sauerkraut
  • 1 tsp of Dijon mustard

Instructions:

  1. In a cast-iron skillet for the entire can of sauerkraut, half of your beer, and the Dijon mustard. Mix well.
  2. Place your sauerkraut in the mixture.
  3. Please distillate over the hottest part of the fire until it bubbles and moves to the outer edge, lower the heat, and allow the mixture to simmer.
  4. Leave this to simmer until the sausages are fully cooked.
  5. When you’re ready to serve your sandwiches, move the skillet back to the hottest part of the fire to chare the outside of the sausages.
  6. Serve on a New England-style top, sliced Buns, and enjoy!
